DETAILED TOUR PROGRAMME:

DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI

Arrive New Delhi airport and meet our representative with garland welcome & transfer to your hotel & relax. Later enjoy half day sight of New Delhi with Lotus Temple (The temple looks like a lotus flower and is made of marble, similar in style to the Sydney Opera House) also enjoy the excursion of Lutyens buildings Parliament house, President house,  India Gate & Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple). Overnight in Delhi. (Room will be available from 12:00 hrs)

DAY 2: DELHI - MATHURA (150 Km / about 3 hrs drive)

Morning after breakfast drive to Mathura. Mathura is the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Mathura is also known as Brij Bhoomi - The land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth. It is an important pilgrim place of the Hindus and one of the seven sacred cities in India. On arrival, check in at hotel.

Afternoon visit Vrindavan , where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days , played the flute sporting with the Gopis and where Radhika pined for her lover. Visit the Govind Dev Temple – built in 1590 and a testimony to the architectural splendour of medieval India. Proceed to Rangaji Temple – Vrindavan’s longest temple constructed in 1851 with a 50 feet tall ‘ Dhwaja Stambha ’ believed to be gold – plated. Continue to Madan Mohan Temple situated near Kali Ghat , Glass Temple and the Bankey Bihari Temple – one of the oldest temples built in 1921. Overnight in Mathura.

DAY 3: MATHURA – NAND GAON – BARSANA - GOKUL - MAHAVAN - GOVERDHAN - MATHURA

Morning after breakfast drive to Nand Gaon – the house of Lord Krishna’s foster father Nand , in whose memory stands the 19th century temple. After that visit Barsana – the birth place of Radha – with temples in reverence of Ladliji ( Radha ) . Also visit the water tank ‘ Prem Sarovar ’ , the first meeting place of Radha – Krishna. Later drive to Gokul where Lord Krishna was brought up in secrecy by Yashoda, in the pastoral beauty of this village on the banks of the Yamuna. Also visit Gokul Nath Ji Temple. Later proceed to Mahavan, lying on the left bank of the River Yamuna & here is the large shrine of Mathura nathji. It is famed for its Chaurasi Khambha (eighty four pillars). Continue to Goverdhan – where the young Lord Krishna is said to have held Giriraj up on the tip of a finger for 7 days and nights to shield the people of Braj from the deluge of rain sent down by Lord Indra. Return to Mathura. Overnight in Mathura.

DAY 4: MATHURA - AGRA

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra (55 km /01 hr). Agrabeautifully situated on the banks of river Yamuna. Enroute visit Sikandra (Akbar’s Mausoleum). On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later visit World’s Heritage Agra Fort built in Red Sandstone, comprising of exquisite palaces and mosques. Evening free to visit colourful market of Agra. Overnight in Agra.

DAY 5: AGRA-DELHI (205 Km / 4-5 hrs drive)

In the early morning visit the India’s most celebrated monuments Taj Mahal in Sunrise built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. As the sun rises the colours change, and the marble takes on gold and pink. Return to hotel for breakfast & later drive back to Delhi.
