DETAILED TOUR PROGRAMME
DAY 1: DELHI/MUMBAI- BANGALORE (BY FLIGHT)
Take your flight from Mumbai/Delhi for Bangalore. Arrive in Bangalore & Meet with our representative with garland welcome & drive to hotel. Check into the hotel & relax. Late in the afternoon visit Tipu Sultan's Palace, one of the most remarkable buildings of the city, now a museum, ISKCON Temple and Lal Bagh Garden. Overnight stay in Bangalore.
DAY 2: BANGALORE – MYSORE (140 KM/ 3 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Mysore, a historical city of India & famous for its magnificent buildings. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later visit famous Tipu's Summer Palace, the Maharaja's Palace and Chamundi Hill. Later visit Brindavan Gardens that attracts thousands of visitors every day. Overnight stay in Mysore.
DAY 3: MYSORE - BANDIPUR-COORG (160 KM/ 4 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Bandipur & enjoy Jungle Safari in Bandipur, erstwhile private hunting forest of the King of Mysore. This national parks is also noted for herds of Gaur, Deer, Bear, elephants and of course Tigers. Later drive to Coorg, a beautiful village. On arrival check into the hotel & overnight stay in Coorg.
DAY 4: COORG – OOTY (245 KM/ 6 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Ooty, Ooty also known as Udhagamandalam is the "Queen of hill stations".It is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. On arrival in Ooty, check into the hotel & relax. Evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay in Ooty.
DAY 5: OOTY
After breakfast visit beautiful Tea gardens, lakes, Botanecial Gardens, water falls & don’t forget to visit Government Museum for tribal objects, districts ecological details and arts & crafts of Tamilnadu. Overnight stay in Ooty.
DAY 6: OOTY – COCHIN (270 KM/ 6 HRS DRIVE)
On arrival in Cochin, check into the hotel and relax. Kochi (old name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtaking scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, known as 'God's Own Country'. Later in the afternoon visit half day Sightseeing include Fort Cochin Beach, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Net, Church of Saint. Francis, Paradesi Synagogue. Over night in Cochin.
DAY 7: COCHIN - MUNNAR (130 KM/ 3-4 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Munnar and check into the hotel. Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon visit Tea gardens & explore Munnar town. Overnight in Munnar.
DAY 8: MUNNAR
After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing around Munnar.
Mattupetty (13 km) Situated at a height of 1700 Mts , Mattupetty is famous for its highly specialised dairy farm, the Indo-swiss live stock project. Over 100 varietes of high yielding cattle are reared here.
Pothamedu (6 km) Pothamedu offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.
Devikulam (7 km) This idyllic hill station with its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air is a rare experience. The Sita Devi Lake with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings is a good picnic spot.
Rajamala (15 km) The natural habitat of the Niligiri tahr , Rajamala is 2695 Mts above sea level. Half the world's population of the rare mountain goat or tahr which is fast becoming extinct is now found here.
DAY 9: MUNNAR- THEKKADY (130 KM/ 4 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast Proceed to Thekkady and check into the hotel. Thekkady is considered a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. The main attraction in thekkady is boating on the lake and the Mullai Periyar Dam. Boating will take approximate 2 hours and you can also get rare glimpses of wild animals. Enjoy sunset boat ride in the lake. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
DAY 10: THEKKADY- KUMARAKOM (70 KM/ 2 ½ HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, Kumarakom is a serenely beautiful and scenic backwater destination, a charming peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake that is dotted with plenty of traditional rice boats and canoes, leaving a scene that is immensely pleasing to the eye. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
DAY 11: KUMARAKOM – ALLEPPEY (A/C HOUSEBOAT)
After breakfast drive to Alleppey as part of your Kerala tour. A perfect destination for a memorable trip in Kerala. Check into a houseboat that will take you through the sleepy backwaters of Kerala. Enjoy nature from your beautiful houseboat passes by charming villages, lush green paddy fields and other scenic delights. Stay overnight in your houseboat besides enjoying the best food in a traditional way.
DAY 12: ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM (160 KM/ 4 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast enjoy Houseboat ride around Alleppey & check out at 10:00 am and later drive to Kovalam. Kovalam beach is known as the "Paradise of the South". Kovalam is warm and clean filled with the coconut trees and the white sandbed as the seabreeze gently plays with the waves. Swimming and bathing are very refreshing and exhilirating in the waves. Enjoy your stay near Beaches in Kovalam.
DAY 13: KOVALAM & KANYAKUMARI (OPTIONAL)
Today visit famous beaches of Kovalam and other like varkala beach. You have optiona for day excursion to Kanyakumari, a town in Tamilnadu state where temples and Vivekananda Rock Memorial are main attractions and worth seeing. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
DAY 14: KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM (30 KM/ 1 HR DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum Airport to take your flight for Delhi/Mumbai.
