DETAILED TOUR PROGRAMME
DAY 1: MUMBAI/ BANGALORE/DELHI- CORBETT (280 KM/ 8-9 HRS)
Arrive in Delhi & meet with Royal Classic Tours representative with garland welcome. Later drive to Corbett. Situated in the Shivalik foothills of the Himalayas, on the banks of the Ramganga River in the Patli Dun Valley. It is India's Oldest Wildlife sanctuary, and is named after Jim Corbett who spent many years in this area. It is heavenly home for adventure lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. It is also known for Sal tree as its main flora. Over 50 animals, 600 birds and 25 reptile species have been spotted here but the highlight of course is the Indian Tigers, Leopards and Gharials, the rare fish eating, long-nosed crocodiles. On arrival check into the Lodge & relax. In the afternoon visit Dhangarhi museum, Girija Devi temple and Corbett Fall. Also enjoy at Watch Tower for watching wildlife jungle activities. Evening free for nature walk, stroll along the river. Overnight in Corbett.
DAY 2: CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
Morning & evening enjoy Jungle Safari by an open four-wheeled gypsy for viewing wildlife or tracking the tiger with a trained naturalist guide. It is the best way to cover maximum area inside the forest. Drive along the Ramganga, to look for some fish-eating Gharial and Marsh Crocodiles. You have also possibilities to see the some species of Kingfishers, Pallas & Himalayan Grey headed Fishing Eagles, Osprey & Crested Serpent Eagle. Overnight in Corbett.
DAY 3: CORBETT NATIONAL PARK – RANIKHET (110 KM/ 3 ½ HRS)
Morning after breakfast drive to Ranikhet. On arrival in Ranikhet, check into the hotel. The scenic scenery at Ranikhet has long been admired by everyone. Ranikhet is a picturesque location surrounded by hills in northern India. It is a cantonment town situated in the Almora district of the Indian state Uttarakhand. History has it that the name means queen’s meadow in English, originated from a local legend who fell in love with an ancient local queen named Queen Padmini. Although there is no palace, the fact that the queen chose to live here resounds in the history of the place. Overnight stay in Ranikhet.
DAY 4: RANIKHET
Day at Ranikhet will be free for enjoying leisurely activities. One can opt to explore the picturesque vistas of the region to admire its natural exuberance and the richness of nature’s bounty. Laden with succulent fruit orchards, Chaubatia Garden is known for Fruit Research Centre. Explore the vicinity and have a laid back vacation here for absolutely reviving experience. Overnight stay in Ranikhet.
DAY 5: RANIKHET –NAINITAL (55 KM/ 2 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast drive to Nainital. Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalayan necklace, blessed with scenic natural splendour and varied natural resources. Dotted with lakes, Nainital has earned the epithet of ’Lake District' of India. The most prominent of the lakes is Naini Lake ringed by hills. Nainital has a varied topography. Nainital’s unending expense of scenic beauty is nothing short of a romance with awe-inspiring and pristine Mother Nature. Overnight stay in Nainital.
